Neuro-Oncology Fellowship
Candidates will preferably be board-certified or board-eligible in neurology, or medical oncology. The first year of the fellowship emphasizes clinical neuro-oncology with a strong emphasis on primary brain tumors. The second year offers an opportunity for concentrated basic or clinical research. The Brain Tumor Center at Duke has five full-time attending physicians and sees over 700 new primary brain tumor patients per year. The majority of the patients are treated on clinical research protocols. The neuro-oncology fellows will have opportunities in neuro-radiology, neuro-pathology and neuro-psychology.
